Dr. William W. Ward is an experienced industrial consultant for the biotech and biopharmaceutical industries. A Professor of Biochemistry at Rutgers University and President and CEO of Brighter Ideas, Inc., Dr. Ward has over 40 years of bench experience in protein purification and downstream processing. Via his internationally acclaimed hands-on short course, PROTEIN PURIFICATION: Principles and Practice, Dr. Ward has taught the fine art of protein purification to more than 2000 industrial scientists from across the globe. He is a world expert in the structure, properties, and applications of Green-Fluorescent Protein (GFP), having authored or co-authored more than 120 books, book chapters, journal articles, and abstracts in this field. He has 6 patents and patent applications to his credit.
